Position Overview
We are hiring reliable, customer-service-oriented Patrol Security Guards for our new project in Canmore. This role is ideal for dedicated, punctual professionals who demonstrate empathy, composure, and professionalism while safeguarding property and people. This role involves static duties, with a strong focus on safety, communication, and professionalism. The ideal candidate is reliable, calm under pressure, and takes pride in maintaining a secure and welcoming environment. This position is well suited to individuals who enjoy working independently while being part of a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular patrols to monitor premises and identify safety or security risks.
Respond to incidents, alarms, or emergencies in a calm and professional manner.
Maintain detailed and accurate reports of activities, incidents, and observations.
Support site access control, visitor management, and client service needs.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors throughout the shift.
Ensure adherence to all site-specific and company protocols.
Perform duties that involve walking significant distances and standing for extended periods.
Qualifications and Requirements
Valid Alberta Security License (required, company can assist in getting the license).
Valid First Aid/CPR Certification (required, company can assist in getting the certificate).
Ability to provide your own CSA-approved hard hat and steel-toed boots (required).
Valid AB Class 5 Driver’s License (required).
AGLC ProServe and ProTect Certificate (Required)
Access to a personal vehicle.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to stay focused, alert, and courteous during long shifts
Able to stand and walk for extended periods and work in all weather conditions.
Reliable, professional, and strong attention to detail.
Pay
Starting from $20.50 per hour.
Schedule
7-hour/ 12-hour shifts
Day/ Evening/ Night shifts
Monday- Friday
Weekends
On-calls
