Position Overview
We are hiring experienced Security Guards to join us at Olds, AB. This role involves mobile and static duties, with a strong focus on safety, communication, and professionalism. The ideal candidate is reliable, calm under pressure, and takes pride in maintaining a secure and welcoming environment. This position is well suited to individuals who enjoy working independently while being part of a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular patrols to monitor premises and identify safety or security risks.

  • Respond to incidents, alarms, or emergencies in a calm and professional manner.

  • Maintain detailed and accurate reports of activities, incidents, and observations.

  • Support site access control, visitor management, and client service needs.

  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors throughout the shift.

  • Ensure adherence to all site-specific and company protocols.

  • Perform duties that involve walking significant distances and standing for extended periods.

Qualifications

  • Valid Alberta Security License (required).

  • Valid First Aid/CPR Certification (required).

  • AGLC ProServe and ProTect Certificate (Required)

  • A minimum of 5 years of Canadian driving experience (preferred).

  • A minimum of 5 years of clean driving abstract, with no at fault claims or any demerits (preferred).

  • A minimum of 6 years of Claim Experience Letter for Canadian Automobile Insurance History (preferred).

  • Ability to stay focused, alert, and courteous during long shifts

  • Professional attitude and strong attention to detail

  • Strong work ethic, respectful in all situations, and staying calm in emergencies

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Physically able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods in all weather conditions

  • Access to reliable transportation to and from the worksite

Pay: Starting from $19.00 per hour

Schedule

  • 8-hour/ 12-hour shifts

  • Evening/ Night shifts

  • •Monday- Friday

  • Weekends/ Holidays

  • On calls
